What did you ride today? »
Singletrack in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows
After my bail the other day, I’ve been taking it easy on the bike and going for longer, less technical rides. Last night, I went for a rip down a piece of flat singletrack that I haven’t really ridden for years. It was so nice, I got up early this morning and went for another ride on the same stretch of path. More pictures after the jump.

Nice doubletrack ride along the Alouetter River in Pitt Meadows, BC.

There will be tonnes of workers in these fields during the heat of the day. They usually work until 8 or 9 at night before being bussed back to their homes.

The best of both worlds. Flat, fast singletrack that goes forever and steep, technical trails up in the mountains. And, no, that’s not a thermonuclear explosion on the right side of the photo. The sun was low, I wasn’t really trying for ‘pro’ shots, and I wanted to get back to riding.
This is the first entry in the ‘What did you ride today?’ category. Every once in a while (ie. when I remember the camera), I’ll post up pics from my day’s ride.
If anyone else wants to join in, send me your images (as many as you like, minimum 500 width, jpg format), along with your name, the ride location, and any other relevant info that you’d like to share.
